Dinghy Racing

Six of our ten member clubs offer dinghy racing, so SWSA does not currently organise dinghy open racing in Southampton Water. Full programmes of dinghy events can be found on member websites, please contact them direct to check dinghy classes and information.

Hythe S.C

A recognised RYA Sail Training centre which offers dinghy racing and rallies and has dinghy park spaces.

Marchwood Y.C

A thriving Junior section on summer evenings, with a chance to learn to sail and try a race.The club has boats kids can use, including Laser Pico and Mirror, Enterprise and Wayfarers.

Netley Cliff S.C.

Dinghy racing series on Wednesday evenings (April to September) and Sundays (April to November). Regular social sailing events and cruises scheduled throughout the summer.

Netley S.C

Full calendar of dinghy handicap racing at weekends and in the evening (April to December). Thriving Junior section focusing on children having fun on the water. RYA certified training for sailing and windsurfing.

Southampton S.C

Dinghies available for training and recreational sailing, including Wayfarer, RS Quest, a GP14 and Toppers. The club runs recreational sailing days and evening sailing events throughout the summer.

Warsash S.C
